Community Outreach is an essential part of the SAGE mission to partner with organizations whose goal is to encourage middle-school and high-school aged girls to explore career choices. The Community Outreach committee identifies and maintains positive relationships between SAGE and other like-minded community organizations in the Sacramento Region. Responsibilities include collaboration with these groups on events and programs targeted towards middle-school and high-school aged female students.
This team will identify community organizations with complimentary objectives and build ongoing relationships with these community organizations. Since there are many organizations with whom SAGE can partner, the Community Outreach team will evaluate and make trade-offs between organizations that seek to form relationships with SAGE.
Community Outreach will drive engagements with the partnered organizations, develop co-sponsored events with the partnered organizations and work closely with partnered organizations to identify program development supporting community needs.
